Terms of service

1. Orders & Quotations

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the issue date.

  • Once you place an order and we accept it, it becomes a binding agreement.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled without our written approval.


2. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are as listed in our quotation or current price list.

  • Prices exclude delivery charges and GST unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment is due before delivery unless you hold an approved credit account with us.

  • Credit account invoices are payable within 30 days.

  • We may require a deposit or progress payments for large or custom orders.


3. Delivery

  • We arrange delivery to the address you nominate.

  • Any delivery times provided are estimates only — we are not responsible for delays outside our control.

  • Risk passes to you once the goods are delivered, but ownership remains with APD until full payment is received.


4. Returns & Defects

  • You must inspect goods on delivery and notify us of any defects within 7 days.

  • If goods are faulty, you are entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Non-defective returns may be accepted at our discretion, subject to a 20% handling fee plus freight costs.


5. Warranties & Liability

  • APD guarantees that goods supplied will match their description and meet our standard specifications.

  • Except as required by law, APD is not liable for:

    • loss of profit, revenue, or business,

    • delays, or

    • indirect or consequential loss.

  • Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the goods.


6. Privacy

  • We may collect and use your personal information to process orders, provide services, and manage accounts.

  • We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, transport interruptions, or government actions.


8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
